Emily has always loved telling stories. As a photographer, she has dedicated her life to documenting the most
beautiful story of all: the one of love. Trained as a photojournalist, Emily seeks to tell the stories of couples, children,
and seniors in a documentary style by capturing candid moments.Using her creative spirit and years of intensive training, Emily captures timeless images that can be passed down through the generations. Emily has served as the photo editor of the Kentucky Kernel, and has been published by the Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer, Lexington Herald Leader and the Associated Press. OWIP offers me the unique chance to share my passion for taking pictures with children. It has helped me to grow as both a photographer and a teacher, as I learn as much from the students as they learn from me. It is an amazing experience to be able to touch someone’s life in the way that I can teaching for this program.
